I do not have any official work experience but I have experience volunteering alongside employees of establishments. I’d say that some of my skills that I have that would make me fit for a job are a positive attitude, good communication skills, and the ability to take criticism and/or feedback and accept it and learn from it.

VOLUNTEER INTERNSHIP

Japanese Internment camp, CO

Oct. 2018 – Dec. 2018

This was an Archaeology internship in eastern Colorado, the work I did was towards preserving the history of the Japanese Internment camp. Duties there included both the fieldwork commonly associated with Archaeology as well as the organization, care, and responsibility of maintaining the museum associated with the site. Specifically, these involved:

• Updating reports on dig sites as discoveries were made and layers dug.
• Writing detailed artifact’s evaluation forms to determine an artifacts condition and future preservation.
• Cataloging and organizing the museum’s reference material, both existing and when new submissions where made.
• Cataloging and reporting on displayed artifacts.
